The In dieta lent team wants to make our programming as varied as possible, to appeal to the widest audience segment.
Indietalent.ca is in the process of creating a wide variety of new programs to further refine our vision to bring exposure to new talent.
Our intent, for each of these new programs is to feature one or two artists in the musical genre of the particular hour. You can visit our Artist page to see who is on our list of featured artists.
On spoken word programs such as The Theatre Hour, we will be showcasing Indie playrights, and on the Health and Wellness Hour we will be talking to experts in various health related fields. The Outdoors Hour will focus on sports, gardening, birding, hiking, boating and fishing – basically anything you do outside.
The Blues Hour is a brand-new initiative that will feature Canadian blues artists …. we try to feature a different blues artist each month……
The Comedy Hour is in the planning stages, but once we get it going it will feature local comedy acts.
The Children’s Hour will feature music written for children, stories, and poems.
The Country Hour features new, old, traditional, modern – in fact, all types of Country Music.
Electronica features electronic music of all genres.
The Gospel and Christian Music Hour will feature various styles of Gospel and Christian music.
The HipHop and Rap Hour gives us the opportunity to feature various styles of HipHop and Rap music.
Inspirational and Meditative Music features peaceful, tranquil and gentl music to help you relax and chill.
The International Hour – although In dieta lent is primarily here to feature Canadian artists and help you adelgazar rapido y bajar de peso, the International hour allows us to bring you talented in dieta artists from all around the world.
The Doug Watson Jazz Hour. In dieta lent is really pleased to have Doug Watson (previously of CJRT) with us. The Doug Watson Jazz Hour runs 6 days a week, and a new program is launched the first Saturday of each month. Check the Schedule for show times
The Jazz Hour features instrumental Jazz, and has already featured Henry Heillig of the Heillig Manouver, Barry Elmes of Time Warp and Brandi Disterheft, JM Cruiz, an International Jazzman, and others.
The Vocal Jazz Hour is a new series of jazz programs which will be devoted to jazz vocalists. This program will run only when we are able to find a self-written jazz vocalist – which is harder than you might think ….. a lot of great vocalists, but they just do not seem to want to write their own material.
The Moonshine Cafe show is devoted to the artists of the Moonshine Cafe in Oakville, a venue that totally supports in dieta artists.
The Outrageous Virtual Open Stage is a creation of our Program Coordinator, Louise Peacock. She features various artists who have performed at the Outrageous Open stage she ran for 4 years, as well as new artists who want to “perform” on the Virtual Open stage!
The Rock Hour will feature a wide variety of Rock music – so don’t get mad at us – we’ll include old style, classic rock as well as newer styles …..
The Roots Hour – this program allows us to feature music of many different ethnic and cultural styles – Aboriginal, Celtic, Folk, and so on.

The Theatre Hour is a spoken word program, which will foray into various original plays, with or without music. We had fun with two Christmas plays this past year.
This Business of Music features interviews with various music business professionals. Club owners, agents, teachers, studio owners, music scenesters, musicians, producers.. etc.
We have lots of ideas, but sometimes it’s hard to find all the time needed to implement those ideas ….
